Newsletter June 2022
So, it's been a while and a lot has happened in the last year. But the light has returned and the skies are (mostly) blue!

I wanted to herald my return with a newsletter which I will be sending out each month with three things that might reach out or resonate with you in some way. If they do please don't hesitate to let me know.

Much love
Jane
What I am reading......

This month I am reading The Vegetarian by Han Kang.

I love Asian literature and this is not disappointing. It is a feminist novel written by a woman in a male narration. It is about a Korean woman who becomes a vegetarian and the affect this has on her and her family.

I am only half way through but I am gripped. Give it a go!
What I am considering....

I am so very privileged to work with people with a wide range of issues and hear their stories.

I realised, though, that therapy is about loss and being with someone as they slowly, gently come to terms with that loss whatever it may be - from loss of a childhood, loss of identity, loss of a loved one - therapy, for me, is sitting with each person just as they are and holding them through it.
What I am enjoying.......

I am enjoying watching the sun and the rain work together to encourage the wonderful growth I see before me. Landscapes of verdant greens and light blues; trees bursting with life and gardens overgrowing.

Being in nature can be very healing - next time you are out try taking your shoes off and feeling the ground beneath you, ask permission to interact with the trees and feel their strength, breathe and smile.
